A few years back, I began writing monthly to-do lists to help me keep track of what’s on my plate. I share these lists here, and report back each month on what I was able to accomplish.

My June list focused on transitioning into the summer season with ease. Here’s what I was able to get done in the last month:

  • Completed 2k minutes on my Peloton app. I’m working toward my 6k minutes goal for summer again and I was able to get off to a strong start through walking, biking, jogging, rowing, meditation, and yoga.
  • Launched a new coach training cohort. The next coach training cohort began this month and it was super fun to welcome a new group of coaches into this professional development experience!
  • Meditated 15 times. I’ve been feeling the need for more contemplative practices after several full months at work. I rebooted my meditation practice in June with 15 sessions of guided meditation and it felt wonderful.
  • Watched Daisy Jones and the Six. I loved this book and hadn’t gotten around to watching the television adaptation yet. I was able to work through all the episodes in the month of June and I can see why everyone is also loving the adaptation.

June was a pretty relaxing month. Now it’s time to plan for a new month of to-do items! I’m ready to launch into July and see what the second half of the year will bring.

Here are some of the items on my July to-do list:

  • Visit with family. I have some family coming to Denver in July. They were able to find a rental just down the street from my house, so it will be fun to have them in town for a few days.
  • Read The Naturals Collection. This is the box set I assigned to myself this summer and I’ve heard that it has Criminal Minds vibes, so I’m excited to dive in.
  • Work on a new coach training class. I’ve been researching neurodiversity as a side project for my coach training program since I want to start putting together a new course. This will involve creating a syllabus, but also writing some new content for my coach training manual.
  • Complete my Restful July tradition. Each year, I take July off of content creation so that I can revisit my goals for the blog, the podcast, and YouTube. I’ll be completing this tradition again this year.

I’m really looking forward to what I’m going to accomplish this upcoming month! What are you looking forward to in the month of July?
