Several years back, I began to write monthly to-do lists to help me keep track of what’s on my plate on a different time scale than days or weeks. I share these lists here, and report back each month on what I was able to accomplish.
My March list focused on making progress in a number of timely tasks! Here’s what I was able to get done in the last month:
- Created my spring bucket list. I like to have a bucket list as I transition between seasons, so I put together my list for spring that will run March through May. It’s so fun to think ahead to lighter and warmer days as we get further into the year.
- Attended a local conference. The UPCEA conference happened in Denver and I attended three days of great sessions. I didn’t present anything, but I did lead an AMA session, which was a new addition to the conference this year. I also ran into a bunch of colleagues that I hadn’t seen in years and really enjoyed the time to catch up with them.
- Took a couple of vacation days. Work has been pretty full-on in the first part of this year, so I took a couple days out of the office toward the end of March. I used those two days to work ahead on some content creation and coach training course prep, so it was time well spent.
- Prepared to read Onyx Storm. The latest book in the Fourth Wing series came out in January and I wanted to re-read the first two books in the series before diving into the latest one. I have them all on audio and ebook and I’ve been saving them for when I have a little more open time on my plate. Unfortunately, I did not get to this in March, so it will move to later this spring.
March was a pretty full month with lots going on and now it’s time to plan for a new month of to-do items! I’m ready to launch into April and see what this next month of the year will bring.
Here are some of the items on my April to-do list:
- Begin a yoga therapy training program. I decided to deepen my yoga practice with some more training around how yoga can be used therapeutically to treat a number of issues. I’ll be sharing more about this program soon on the podcast, but I’m really looking forward to diving into the course materials in April.
- Celebrate my partner’s birthday. My partner has a birthday in April, so we’ll be celebrating him this month. At the very least, I expect we’ll do a birthday dinner, but I need to check in with him to see what he wants to do to celebrate another year around the sun.
- Launch 3 coach training courses and wrap up PM by Design sessions. Spring is a busy time for the coach training courses that I teach. I have a few courses that will launch in April and I’ll also be closing out the first offering of PM by Design, which has been so fun to facilitate!
- Complete final edited collection tasks. Our manuscript is due May 1, so my co-editors and I will be doing a final comb through of the book to get it ready to be sent off to the publisher. This has been such a great project to collaborate on in the first part of 2025.
It’s going to be a busy month! What are you looking forward to in the month of April?
